Filmmore is seeking a highly skilled and professional Virtual Production Manager/Specialist for a full-time position. Our team is composed of the industry’s most talented and enthusiastic individuals, and we are constantly in pursuit of those who exhibit unparalleled passion for visual effects and postproduction. The candidate will be instrumental in fortifying our team, augmenting our virtual production capabilities, and spearheading the expansion of our VP department to new heights. In this role you will engage in intricate collaboration with Visual Effects Supervisors, artists, and a diverse array of creative post-production professionals, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is achievable in virtual production.
• Strategic Department Development: Architect and establish a cutting-edge VP department at Filmmore, integrating advanced technologies and methodologies
• Client and project acquisition: Identify and secure potential clients and projects to catalyze growth.
• Network Expansion: Cultivate and expand our network within the global VP community, fostering long-term professional relationships and strategic partnerships.
• Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee comprehensive financial and administrative reporting, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic budgetary planning.
• Project Management Integration: Implement and manage project management systems (e.g., Asana, Trello) to ensure seamless workflow and task tracking.
• Unreal Engine Training: Educate, mentor, and develop prospective Unreal Engine artists, ensuring a continuous infusion of top-tier talent.
• Comprehensive understanding of the post-production landscape, encompassing both local and international spheres
• Minimum of 5 years of intensive experience with Unreal Engine, demonstrating profound technical expertise and creative application.
• At least 5 years of experience with VFX infrastructure, including advanced software and network management capabilities.
• Demonstrable creativity and a proactive approach, combined with exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of high-performing professionals.
• Proficient in project management systems (e.g., Asana, Notion) with a track record of successful project execution.
• Deep understanding of cinematography, with at least 3 years of experience in the field, particularly in relation to virtual production.
• Extensive knowledge of lighting techniques and their application in virtual production, enhancing the overall visual storytelling.
• Strong technical background in camera systems and the ability to integrate industry-standard solutions.
