‘Nightsong’, directed by Maya Da-Rin and produced by Tamanduá Vermelho & Still Moving (Brazil/France), has won the Filmmore Post Production Award. The award offers the best-suited CineMart project €7,500 worth of in-kind support.
This years jury consisted of Annamaria Lodato, Julie Savary, Erik Glijnis and our very own Boelie Vis.
Jury report: “Rural, indigenous family, and the devil are words we heard a lot during our sessions with directors and producers of the 23 original projects of the CineMart and Boost NL selection. Stories about breaking boundaries, diversity, migration and social acceptance. One of the stories that stood out and resonated with us is about a changing landscape. An urgent universal message, in a strong visual, auditory and also dreamy way. It issues biodiversity, nature, women of different generations, changing land, changing culture and the past.”
